This series was initially started as a number of doodles as I was listening to podcasts and vidcasts.  But it quickly evolved into a thing of its own, and my "completionist" side urged me to finish every single letter. 

I used it as an opportunity to try to be less precious, more expressive, and looser than I usually render.  I have been more successful with some than others--it seems the process of inking automatically delineates an edge with a hard line and sends the image into a range that is a bit more crisp and pointed.

Each letter has been an adventure in being inspired but not constrained by reference material, and while some of them hew close to the photographs I used, others were grand experiments. I had fun doing them all.
